Obsession.

Another video for you!  The more I watch Glee, the more I absolutely love it and the episode on Tuesday might be one of my favorites ever.  I just finished watching it over my lunch break today.  It is probably the only show on TV where I might cry if I missed an episode.  And I have a Glee Pandora station that I listen to at work - highly recommend it.




Oh yeah, and I wish I could sing.

Pumped!

So I finally watched the finale of the Next Food Network Star and I can't wait to watch Aarti Paarti starting this Sunday!!!!  Stud and I had been cheering for Aarti Sequeira all season - we were drawn to her food (Indian yummm) and also her personality.  I don't see how anyone could not like her.

And her food.  Looks amazing.

I started doing some research and the Aarti Paarti concept has actually been around for a while!  She has a blog by the same name and has been posting episodes of the cooking show along with recipes for some time now.  Baked Samosas? Tandoori Chicken?  Yes please.  And The Food Network has also been posting all of her recipes from the show!

So my apologies in advance - there could be a significant increase in the amount of Indian cuisine!

Pillars of the Earth

This is what Stud and I will be watching as soon as it's on Netflix (so tomorrow) since we do not pay for Starz.  Have I mentioned how much I love instant Netflix?? 

And if you haven't read the book, do it.  It's a good one.

TV Guide

OK so Stud and I only have a cable box on one TV. So only one TV gets the fancy guide that pops up on the screen. With all the other TVs, I go to 99 and watch the TV Guide Channel. Now I had accepted that they were shrinking it down to itsy bitsy so I had to squint to read what's on all the channels. I wasn't pleased, but I would survive.

So last night, Stud and I turn to TV Guide to see what's on AND THEY HAVE TAKEN THE LISTINGS OFF COMPLETELY. I am not OK with this TV Guide. Not one bit. Now I have no idea what's on any of the channels and I am forced to channel surf. And I always hit commercials. I bet there was a really good episode of Criminal Minds on last night, but I have no idea because commercials were on channel 21. Or House Hunters, but again, commercials on 51. So I fell asleep listening to Curb Your Enthusiasm which was what had replaced my show listings. And fuming because I did not want to support this behavior. But what else was I to do?!?! I did not sleep well last night - I was plotting my revenge. Any ideas?

I love Jeopardy, but this might be a little too far.  How could the contestants not laugh?!?

Dark Cloud

Vacation was amazing.  Like really amazing.  I drank several Bloody Mary's and spent all day on the beach - except for the one day we hit the outlet malls.  I will come back with some pictures to make you jealous in a few.  But there is something more pressing that is happening in the real world.  I knew it was going to be bad when I got an email from Stud simply titled "Noooooooooo!"

NBC Cancels ‘Law & Order’

I mean, what are they thinking???  It has been on the air since 1990.  I was 4.  They say that a new show "Law & Order: Los Angeles" or LOLA (gag) for short will take over the story lines that would normally be found on the regular Law & Order.  At least they did renew SVU.  I might have had to boycott the station if the cancelled SVU and I really need The Office and 30 Rock in my life.  Anyways, I probably won't watch LOLA (gag).  But I will open a bottle of wine or two with Stud on his next free night, settle down on the couch and memorialize Law & Order by watching a marathon.

Which I will continue to do post cancellation, but hey, I am always looking for a reason to drink wine.

I'm a Gleek

GLEE IS BACK.

Glee is by far my favorite show on television. It has the ability to put a smile on my face no matter the day I've had. And it's been on break for months, and tonight, it finally comes back. If you have never watched it, you should. And then you should go and download the songs from iTunes. One of my many favs:

New fav

Stud and I have a new favorite TV show. Life on Discovery channel. Which is good seeing as I had all about memorized Planet Earth.

It's narrated by Oprah, and while not as good as the cool British dude from Planet Earth, she does a pretty good job. Last night's episodes were Mammals and Fish and it's amazing what exists on our planet. Just like with the Planet Earth series, there were several things that had never been filmed before and the Discovery/BBC team did an amazing job capturing the scenes. And watching in HD was amazing! There are not enough good things I can say about Life. Sooo good. Check it out - Sundays, 8 and 9pm.
